A while ago, my girlfriend was offered a deal on plane tickets. for purchasing $200 dollars worth of cosmetics, we would recieve a couple of free airplane tickets (provide own hotel and travel) to fly to a few select tropical cities. I thought this would be a hoax so we called around and everybody with authority told us the deal was ligit (a way to promote the cosmetic company). So we went ahead and bought the $200 cosmetics. But as we get farther and farther into the deal, we are finding that we have to purchase resorts and such.
I am just wondering if anyone has done this and if it is a SCAM or if it really works out in the end

Answer: You can contact the Better Business Bureau where they are located and ask if there have been any complaints. Many companies are doing this as a promotion ( ie car dealers ) They do give you the 2 free airline tickets, but you have to buy a 7 day package at certain resorts which usually wind up being pretty expensive - basically to cover the cost of the so called free airline tickets. I think for the most part its legit - as I have seen so many of these. Maybe try and sell the cosmetics on ebay and forget the trip !

Answer: i believe so..
if you have a passport and don't look sketchy you should be fine.
after all it's not like your trying to get into holier-than-though canada.
Question: How much would a 3-4 month holiday travelling from South America cost?
Not including flights to South America, but looking to head round most places.. Chile, Brazil, Peru.. etc etc. Not planning on working, and not planning on spending huge amounts.. How much do you think it would cost - minimum to maximum please. Thank you!
Answer: Depending on where you plan to eat or places to visit, I would play it safe and say 50 dollars a day. Chile is much more expensive than Peru, Argentina is fine right now and food is cheap there. Brazil is quite expensive regarding clothes and semi precious stones but food is sort of cheap. Try the souht of Chile and Argentina (Patagonia) where the view is breathtaking and food is really, really cheap.
Question: What is the cheapest way to get broadband to my laptop when on holiday in America but no Cafe's and hot spots
I would like to get broadband on my laptop when I am travelling around America on holiday but do not want to use Internet cafe's or Wi-Fi Hot spots as I will be in remote locations. What is the cheapest way to achieve this?
Answer: The only way then would be a mobile network broadband service similar to what we have in the UK. But what ever you do don't get one in the UK to use over there. You will be charged International Rates which is about £3 per Mb.
Get it from a mobile company over there on a pay as you go otherwise you will have to pay for a 12 month contract.
Question: I have a crimminal record for a drink driving incident do i need a visa to travel to america on holiday,?
i dintnt have to give a finger print for the incident but the police do have them on record as i used to do id parades for them
Answer: Whether you need a visa to visit the US depends on your country of citizenship -- without knowing that, no one can give you a correct answer here. Be warned, though, that a drunk driving conviction is grounds for being denied entry into the country.

Answer: If you live in the UK and no one travelling has ever been in trouble with the police then you don't need to apply for a visa as you fill in a visa waiver form on the plane before you land. You can then stay for 90 days.

Answer: You might run into a bit of trouble, but the chances are slim.
They're more concerned with malicious crimes and things like that. As long as you're not being an total idiot, it probably won't even come up.
Question: Can I travel from Canada to America on a New Zealand Passport?
I have a New Zealand Passport and a one year Canadian work visa. I am wanting to go to America for a 2 week holiday. Can I corss the border with this passport as long as I hold a ticekt out in under 90 days?
Answer: Yes passports are the only sure Ids to cross borders... the new zealand part only applies to you citizenship...however if you plan on staying for a long time you'll need to apply for a visa.

i want to go from UK to South Carolina - onto Tennesee - Mississippi - Texas - Hawaii and then back to UK
Answer: its not to bad to do yourself,
you would be cheaper flying into Dulles (Washington DC) though and driving to SC about a 7 hr drive (do not stop at south of the border though you will never be the same neither will your stomach lol) then TN onto MS for there you could get a flight.
One way car rental is common and not to expensive in the states
regarding hotels depending on your budget you can look at the chain web sites and make your bookings there

if you use an agent it will be a lot more expensive as they alwasy want their cut
