Question: What website does the best travel deals on 4 and 5 star holidays in europe?
Answer: actually... www.eeitravel.com is a pretty good one. If you can find a travel agent that will work with them for you (i am not sure if they deal with the public) but they will give you hotels based on the location you want to be close to as well as the transportation to get there and any thing that you know that you want to do in advance, such as a museum pass, transfers to/from the airport, tickets to an event etc. You can also do one location or 100 while you are away. they really give you "door to door" service.

Question: I would like to travel to the u.s on holiday . Can anyone tell me how to get cheap deals on flights and hotels
Answer: There are several ways to get the best airfare:
Try one of the big companies: Travelocity.com., Kayak.com or Expedia.com. The advantage to them is that they show many different airlines and the cheapest prices for both the specific date you want to fly and the dates surrounding that date. In case your plans are flexible. The disadvantage is that you are locked into the fare dates. If you want to change a date due to injury or an emergency, their fees can be extreme.
My personal method it to use Kayak as my initial check on fares and dates. I generally start at least a month in advance when looking for a ticket. The nice thing about kayak is that it hooks you up directly to the airline. Hence… you don’t get locked too deeply into one of the big three that charge up the wazoo for rescheduling. Then after I have figured one or two flights that are at the right times and right prices. In the upper left corner of the Kayak screen there is a feature that says “ track fares by email”. It’s referred to as Fare tracker and it really helps. Sign into this feature and it will update you daily on the changes in airfare. At least once in the month you are going to be able to find a fare that is usually a couple of hundred dollars less than what you have been quoted in the first place. A very cool feature.
Also, check out currentcodes.com and naughtycodes.com. these two sites have discount codes for some of the airlines and can save you some real money if you catch a special at the right time. They have discount codes for just about everything including airfares and Cruises. Not to mention coupon type codes for many stores and services.
If that is not what you want or you are in more of a hurry, then…
Try the airlines directly. Either their Web sites or direct telephone lines. Some of the Airlines offer low price guarantees meaning that if you find a cheaper fight on another Web site they may match the price or beat it. Each airline is different though, so you have to check them out individually.
Just remember, if you are going to try to get the cheapest flights, the airlines normally have restrictions. You may have to purchase the ticket 14 or 21 days in advance, there may be no refunds or changes allowed. You really need to know these restrictions.
If you try looking for a last-minute flight you will end up paying a lot more, although there are occasional exceptions. I personally, managed a last minute ticket to S.F on the Millennium New Years eve. And received a better price than my friends that had booked a month in advance! But… you cannot depend on this at all.
Usually travel agents do not get the lowest fares and sometimes they tack on a commission. Travel agencies used to be the best way to get the best airfare, but with the Internet, It is now just as easy for individuals to check themselves.
If you call an airline directly (they all have toll-free numbers), be sure to ask them if they have any specials. Often they do have specials, but you have to ask them about them, they won’t just tell you!
So be careful about restrictions on tickets. Be aware of charges for overweight baggage and remember that many of the very CHEAP fares you see in the Travel section of the local Papers are fares that are quoted, “without taxes” Taxes can really add up.
Have fun and happy travels.
As far as Hotels, Remember AAA Auto Club. They can get you discounts at almost any hotel. All you have to do is present the card. there are also many other businesses that will discount you if you are a member.
Question: Any good holiday deals like no deposit for 2008 holidays?
wanted to get one booked as soon as possible with a no deposit online if possible would be for next summer anybody know a travel agent offering such deals at the minute
Answer: You can pay in installments with some high street stores, such as Thomson, rather than pay a deposit. Is this something that you'd be interested in? It's not a common practice, but it's possible if you ask them. And if you want to know where to go, go to Turkey (Dalaman)... so cheap at the moment!
Question: Coop Travel Late Deals?
Does anybody know what the price of Coop's Late deal holidays are around the date of 26-28 Dec 08? Are they dearer than they are now because they're around christmas time?
Answer: Sorry to be the bearer of bad news,But you will find all holidays with all the travel companies increase a lot over the festive period. Also all fares have higher subsidies at this time. Some hotels also have compulsory prices as there is the xmas banquet or new year banquet if you are staying half board.I hope you find one to fit your budget, and have a great time.
Question: Should i use a travel agent or the internet when booking a holiday?
i am going to amsterdam for around 5 days, if i use a travel agent they would probably be better at hunting round for a better deal, but don't they charge a bit extra?
which one would work out cheaper?
Answer: If you don't mind putting the peices of the package together yourself then the internet is the cheapest option, but if you want to let someone do the 'packaging' together for you then use a Travel Agent, slight more expensive because of their commission and also when booked as a package you are covered by their ATOL and ABTA License which you may well not be if booking each component separately.
Question: If I am open to travel times, how do I get good deals on flights?
Basically I would love to be offered good deals from Detroit to Philadelphia, round trip, at any random time. Depending on my work schedule or how far in advance I know about the trip, I'd love to find really low prices or have them automatically emailed to me. (My husband and I live in Michigan but my family is near Philadelphia.) Usually I book through Northwest for holidays etc.
Answer: I would recommend try book through southwest,
Expedia ,Travelocity or Hotwire you can sign up to all of these sites and receive information to your specific destination you are looking for.Basically they will send you and alert from your home town to the destination you choose when savings come up. That way you can compare pricing and choose the best deal. I was helping a friend find flights for Nov to Florida and its good to really shop around it can save you quite a bit of money. She thought I got her awesome rates. I also had a long distance relationship for a while and expedia,Southwest and travelocity gave us the best deals. Good luck hopes this helps.
