Question: Does anybody knows a cheap airline to travel from Australia to New Zealand?
Cheap tickets to New Zealand from Australia
Answer: The cheapest Airlines that fly between Australia and NZ are:: (in no order)
http://www.flypacificblue.com (they have happy hour prices at lunch time)
Are you a student? Then try cheaper fares at http://www.studentflights.com.au
For a "one site search" to compare between them all go http://www.webjet.com.au - they charge a $20 booking fee, but once you know what airline and flight # is the cheapest, go back and just book through their airlines site. (it just saves time)
Air NZ also has another website called Grab-A-Seat. Sometime you can get a real bargain, $1 fares to $49. It's mainly travel within NZ, but some times they do real cheap deals to Australia. Best to check the site daily to see what special they have up there (changes all the time) see http://www.grabaseat.co.nz
Question: Which bus company is the best and chepest to travel New Zealand?
Which Bus company would be the best and cheapest to travel all of New Zealand? Why? Does anyone know of a good website to find the best hostels? How are the prices in New Zealand? I heard that it's exspensive their.
Answer: Intercity does a flexi-pass that's good value, or there are other buses that you can use in parts of NZ, e.g. Atomic Shuttles, Cook Connection, etc. Or there are hop-on, hop-off tours like Kiwi Experience and Magic Bus, but I think that would work out more expensive. I used a flexi-pass, plus a few trips with other operators.
The best websites for hostels are http://www.bbh.co.nz and http://www.yha.co.nz.
Question: Suggest me good websites for booking cheap air tickets to travel within australia and new zealand?

Answer: To go across the ditch I find http://www.virginblue.com.au the cheapest - (with two flights a year back and forth) They also have a happy hour which you can get a bargin if you look at the right time.
http://www.virginblue.com.au/bookings/happy_hr/
I have found Air NZ is the most expensive.
Flying national around Aussie - http:///www.jetstar.com.au or http://virginblue.com.au I have found the cheapest - but again also check out the aussie icon http://www.qantas.com.au
Flying national in NZ - there is only one carrier at this stage. http://www.airnz.co.nz as Origin Pacific went under.
There is also a site where you can compare ALL airlines at the same time for flights - it's http://www.webjet.com.au
I don't find the flight centre any help at all. Anytime I go and search for a flight it just brings up a form to fill out and 'they' will get back to you. So far in 3 years, NO ONE has got back to me.

I traveled to Australia from NYC back in 2002, and a round trip ticket was over $1500. Is there a cheaper way to get to Australia or New Zealand (from the US) ? I alway hear rumors of dirt cheap prices to get there, but have never seen anything
for less than $1000

Question: Anyone knows the cheapest way to travel to New Zealand?
The most economical way to fly to New Zealand from Malaysia or Singapore.
Answer: Try Air New Zealand.
They may offer flights from Singapore or Malaysia into Auckland but im not sure.
If they dont...here are the 2 best alternitives.
Fly to Hong Kong with anyone. Air New Zealand then flies from Hong Kong straight back into Auckland-non stop.
Or go via Australia. I recomend Singapore Airlines into Sydney and then Air New Zealand into Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand are in the 'Star Alliance'. That means nothing to the joe average traveler except for that it is easier booking flights when going through a Travle Agent (HIGHLY RECOMENDED!) So if the Singapore flight is delayed...Air New Zealand may put you ahead of the others onto the next flight because you flew with a partner airline.
