Question: Which is the cheapest Mexican " Beach city" to travel to?
Out of classic Mexican vacation destinations like Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas, Carmen del playa, and places like that, which one would overall be the cheapest to fly to and get some kind of travel deal for from San Francisco?

Answer: Have you thought about Tulum, it's about 2 and a half hours south of Cancun. Click the link below to read reviews of 58 Tulum hotels. My favorite is the Posada Luna del Sur--the one ranked number one of Tulum hotels on the Trip Advisor website. The problem is that LOTS of people like it, but there are only 22 rooms.

Answer: Well it really depends on what your looking for. I live in NJ so NYC wouldn't really be a choice for me but you will enjoy it. And trust me I'm a big party girl, THERE'S NO PARTY LIKE A NYC PARTY!!!! Also you got Miami, it's hott down there. The beaches, the parties, and the guys. There's a lot of places you can go, don't forget the islands.....

Answer: Turks & Caicos, Anguilla are just a couple of islands that come to mind but other things to consider would be the resorts. Couples Sans Souci in Jamaica is said to be quiet and clean and it would be a short flight for you. The following is some information about the resort from our website bctravelcompany.com if your are interested in working with us please feel free to contact us or request a qoute online.

Couple San Souci information:
Tropical elegance awaits you at the luxurious Couples Sans Souci. Sans Souci emerges majestically from the cliffs of Jamaica's emerald mountains, with stone pathways tumbling past tropical greenery to a breathtaking experience of opal sand and the azure Caribbean Sea. An amalgam of pastels, exotic birds, winding walkways, and natural mineral springs bubbling in hidden grottos complement this truly elegant resort. Unparalleled spa treatments, renowned cuisine, first-class service and rich ambience make this resort the ultimate place for a relaxing or romantic getaway.

Jamaica’s Sans Souci was once again named to the “Gold List” of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine’s 2005 list of “ best places to stay.” In addition, Sans Souci received the highest rating among Jamaica’s resorts and hotels for its cuisine, and ranked among the very best in service, rooms and activities.

Question: We'd love a 4*/5* hotel city break in Miami South Beach Art Deco district Nov-Dec 1-2 wks. Any good deals?
Can travel anyday of week. 7 days min-16 days max. Never been Miami before. Never booked on-line before. Not many options on google. No car required. In centre of art deco dictrict / Ocean Dr preferred. Prefer longer leg room on flights as recovering from 2 broken legs! - which air lines best? Could afford premium economy maybe business class. Live Northampton so London / B'ham local airports. 2 adults only.

Answer: Was in Miami a few months ago. Definately do not hire a car. There is nowhere to park. South Beach is very crowded and noisy. I would advise on Sunny Isles Beach. It is still in miami, but much better. We stayed at Double Tree Ocean Point. Its a Hilton hotel and price is not "too out the box". We had a one bedroom suite (more of an apartment) on the 17th floor. Amazing. It has its own kitchen and washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, everything. Check it out at travel advisor.

Question: Where on the web are the best places to find great deals on traveling to Puerto Rico/ Tropical locations?
Looking specifically for some sort of resort/villa right on the beach for 2...

Answer: I just got back from Costa Rica. I stayed in Playa Hermosa, a little beach town on the Pacific side. It has hotels ranging from rustic beach cabanas to 5 star all-inclusive resorts. I flew into Liberia ( the state capitol of Guanacaste) with American Airlines and my RT ticket was $349 including taxes, fees, etc. Check out avispasadventures.com , they are great guides, no pressure or hard sell tactics, and they are very very helpful. Their website has a lot of info and links.

Question: When is the best time of year to travel to La Romana, Dominican Republic?
Bayahibe
La Romana,
Dominican Republic
I received an all inclusive package for the Viva Wyndam Dominicus Beach resort so I have several blackout dates I must deal with. I can choose three separate dates, and then the resort will tell me of those three which one I can use.

Answer: Go during the winter months. The weather will be more bearable during these months. If you go in summer time, you will be sweating non-stop. It gets really hot. The only time I go back is in the winter time.

If you go in February, there will be celebrations and parades until the 27th, which is Independence day.

If you can try to go to Boca Chica, it's a little far, but they have beautiful beaches. Also, Puerto Plata and Nagua has nice beaches but they are on the north side of the country. You're actually pretty close to PR also.

Question: Best deals for a Thai Holiday?
I am planning to travel to Thailand (few nights in Bangkpk and then travel south to a beach for a week or so) with a friend in early December this year. I am wondering if it is better to book a package or flights and accommodation separately??

If anyone has any other tips for travel to this area let me know!!
Thanks.

Also, how long to

Answer: prebook your flight, and book everything else when you get here.

from the sounds of the question, the best thing for you to do is go directly to Kao San Rd when you get to Thailand. Crash at one of the cheap hotels in that area, then in the morning go to a tour agent, and book a to whatever island/beach you want to visit. If you book all your travel at the same time you might be able to negotiate a great price for everything. But whatever you do, be sure to haggle the price. Prebooking anything but a flight is just wasted money. Make sure you book in the morning a couple days in advance as it will be high season. Otherwise, come, enjoy your stay and have a good holiday.
