Question: Where do you get the best last minute travel deals?
I LOVE to grab my backpack and travel! I have some discretionary income and lots of free time and flexibility in my schedule.

Where are the best places to search if you want to go somewhere soon for a great price?

It seems like most "last minute deals" aren't much of a deal, and that others are simply advertising scams.

Answer: I like site59.com. It lets you create your package (air, car, hotel - all three, just two, etc) and they have packages for the upcoming weekend and the weekend following.

They also have a link for trips under $250.

Question: What website can i find the best travel deals to florida?
What website can i find the best travel deals to florida?

I am going with my 2 kids, my sister and her 2 kids, any suggestions on where to go? we want to be near a bech

Answer: I always use Expedia.
On the west coast: Sanibel Island (south of Tampa) is a great place for shelling. St. Petersburg is a nice beach and Tampa is close by for Busch Gardens.
On the east coast: Cocoa Beach is nice (that's were I go, closest for me). You can visit the Space Center. The Cocoa Beach Pier has a restaurant (food OK) which has a great
view to watch the surfers. St. Augustine has lots to do with all the shops and the fort.

Question: I am going to Disneyland in May, will it be busy and where are the best travel deals?
I plan on driving from Utah to California, stopping in Vegas for one night, where can I find the best deals on tickets and hotels and what hotels are the better lower priced hotels that are close and do not charge for parking and/or have a free shuttle to the park? Will it be busy the last week in May?

Answer: Hi there! I operate a Disney Vacation Planning Service out of Midvale, Utah! I have made that drive many times. If you are interested in our services for your Disneyland vacation, check out the link listed below.

In the meantime, let me answer your questions. Disneyland is currently offering a great deal on park hopper tickets where you can enter the parks an hour early one day and save a ton of money. For example, I priced this out for a client of mine who is traveling there in June. There are 2 adults and 2 children and they are staying for 5 days. They already have their hotel booked, so I just did a search for ticket prices. The total ticket cost for 4 people for 5 days (park hopper) came to $696 total. That is about $139 a day for all 4 people! That's great considering how much a single day pass is.
Check out http://www.disneyland.com for details on special offers they have.

Or you can find discounted park tickets at these locations:

AAA (membership required)
Sam's Club (membership required- travel services)
Costco - (membership required - travel services)

Disney Stores also offer discounted park tickets, but sadly we don't have any Disney Stores in the state of Utah.

May is typically crowded. Be sure to visit the parks on weekdays - no weekends. And arrive early to take advantage of all the time you can.

Any Disneyland Resort hotel is going to be pricey - especially that time of year. I recommend you stay off property, but nearby. I highly recommend the Peacock Inn & Suites. They are located just down the street from the Resort and offer a complimentary shuttle service.

Question: Where to get the best bargain travel deals?
I hear about these great air/hotel packages for around $300-500 like to Cancun, Vegas,.... but I can't find anything that cheap when I search the web. How do people find these deals?

Answer: You can get good rates on kayak.com, or orbitz or travelocity, or bookingbuddy.com, travelzoo.com for flights. You can sometimes get good deals on skyauction. There are some reasonably priced owner occupied condos on the vacation rental sites like vacationrentals.com , and such. There is a site that I found on there that we have stayed at their condos. There is a site I've used that has reasonably priced condos in Cancun- starting at $55/nt.! http://www.beachcondocancun.com

Question: Best travel deals for high school graudate to travel to Europe this summer?
I want to give my daughter a graduation gift to travel to Europe for 4 weeks but I need something that is inexpensive, She graduates this summer in 08.

Answer: to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck

Question: What and where are the best travel deals?
I'm also active duty military, if that helps.

Answer: I'm ex-Navy. Best travel deals are, of course, to use Space Available Travel. Take 3 weeks of leave and be prepared to go anywhere, and don't mind where you end up.

Next best deals are European lowfare airlines. I've flown Ryanair for 1.99 euros. There are others, such as EasyJet.

Many commands also have free travel agents for the military. Here's a secret: You can call any base that has a travel agency and they will arrange your travels for you to go anywhere within their AOR. They have direct access to airline databases, etc...

In europe there is also the EurailPass if you enjoy riding the train. You'll go to tons of countries on the cheap.

Question: What internet sites offer the best travel deals from Toronto to the Carribean?

Answer: In my experience I've always had the best with www.tripcentral.ca and www.belairtravel.com

And when I find the deals I'm interested in then I personally call the travel group and see if they can match or do better than the lower price. They usually do if it's for the same trip and you can request more regarding your trip than just booking directly online (eg. if you specifically want a certain room booked, etc). It's always better to finally deal with a travel agent in person.
For my last vacation, I found the deal I wanted, called the agent, requested a specific room that I had been booked in before, etc...it was placed on my request form for the resort and they did their best to accomodate. I wasn't disappointed.
If just directly booking online, they won't be able to match any price or request.

There are also these following sites besides tripcentral and belairtravel..........they all will match lower prices.
