Where is a good place to find jamaica travel package deals?
Answer: I have been pricing my trip for February and found the best prices so far on bookit.com and travel sam's club. The Book it site is a bit slow and gave me a hard time at first but it got better the next day. I was told they had updated the site and was still working out the kinks.
For a family of 4 for 5 nights with airfare all-inclusive I have been getting prices around $3,900.00.
Question: What's the best place to travel in Jamaica?
Iam from Louisiana and I am planning a 21st birthday party for me and my 6 friends, i need where i can get a good group planner fot the trip and the best place to go in jamaica with all the good stuff like beaches, shops and other incentives. we're all in college so we love the night life, so im looking for a really nice (wild) 21st birthday party with the works. Question: Where is it safe to travel in Jamaica?
I live in South Florida and am in need of a vacation. A friend of mine found a round trip deal from Air Jamaica for $250 with taxes and fees from Miami to Kingston.Another friend told me that Kingston is a rough place and whitey is not welcome in those parts. I found a hotel on Holborn Road. Anyone know about traveling there and the best way for a caucasian to enjoy a few days of relaxation?

nice places are there... Kingston is not exactly a vacation spot... you could perhaps go to Portland but it seems you are on a tight budget and most villas there will cost you.
Try for MOntego Bay... that is your best bet for somewhere near an airport.
Question: Is there ever a bad time to go to Jamaica?
Is Jamaica great to travel to (Year Round) ..... When is the best time to get the best deals on hotel and airfare?
Answer: yeah, I went for my honeymoon and only had 2 days of sun. Still, even when raining, it was beautiful and comfortable...leaving, the HUGE storm was on our tail the whole way...that was a bit scary...so I would venture to say visit BEFORE mid September...after Aprilish....
Question: When is the cheapest travel time internationally? To Jamaica, Mexico, Punta Cana, etc?
Looking to schedule our vacation for this year and was wondering when the low season or best deals to these kind of destinations typically are. I know right now the prices are high since everyone wants to be in the warm weather - so when are the best deals? Summer? Fall?
Answer: Well I'm from Jamaica and I work in the tourist industry. Winter and Summer seasons are usually the 'peak seasons'. I wouldn't say the prices are higher during this time though because there are a number of specials being offered. It is usually the off-peak seasons when the hotels don't have much 'people traffic' that the prices seem higher as there aren't much deals being offered. Normally the best time to recieve good deals are between December and April.
For example, I work at the Half Moon Resort and Spa in Montego Bay. For the winter season, we currently have a 'Winter Escape Package'. This package will run from Jan. 5th - April 17th. During this period, if you stay a minimum of 5 Nights you and receive:
- $200 Resort Credit per room
- Daily breakfast for fully paid adults,
- Round trip airport transfers
Plus:
- Kids under 12 Stay Free with Daily breakfast when sharing room with 2 parents (maximum 2 children)
- 50% off any meal plan for children under 12 years of age
- Special Single Parent rate. (Single rate with children under 12 years old, maximum 2 children)
Blackout dates:
February 14 - 22, 2007.

Question: Is there anyway I can avoid the Travel Agency, and get a better deal directly with hotel?
Me, and my wife want to go to Jamaica in Febuary. We want an all-inclusive place. Anyway I can get a better deal then the Travel Agensies are offering?
Or, better yet, what is the best way for me to do this? Any hotels anyone can suggest? And what is so special about those hotels?
Answer: It is best to go with Travel Agency.

riu's are the best!!! just booked for 14 nights at the riu palace aruba grand.
we usually fly out of nashville too, since we are only 45 mins from there, but sometimes, it is a few hundred dollars cheaper to fly out of atlanta.

keep in mind tho, that your travel dates could be at the beginning of spring break for some schools, and this is "all inclusive" and like others that have responded, this is the RIU, not sandals or any other place.

we are going mid to late april. we are traveling for our 50th bdays (we are not the age) no kids in tow. golf,sun,fun and also,we do not need nude sunbathing(but if it is a great deal, cool)-where have ya been that may work for us?

why did you enjoy the place?
Answer: We absolutely love Sandals Negril. Great food, drinks, people. Scuba, snorkel, water sports all included. No golf on the resort but you can go to nearby sandals.
