Answer: Well, it's a little more expensive than Mexico city, what you will mostly find it's going to be american clothes because there is a sears and things like that, but if you want something mexican like crafts and south mexican traditional clothing then go to the mercados there are some downtown like the Juarez mercado which is know here in Juarez as the mercadito there is also the reforma mercado which has like american stuff that are sold cheaper because they are fake also there is the mercado cuauthemoc which has mexican craft shops and like piñatas that are in the price range of $5-30 dollards depending on the size, you could find in every mall here typical mexican sweets which are not more than $7 dollards, then in rio grande mall there is this mexican crafts and clothing shop which has very good deals you could buy a sombrero for $30 bucks of course it depends on the size, you could buy jewerly there for about $10-50 dollards this is silver jewerly, also in the juarez street you can find typical things like sombreros and some ranchero clothing and mexican wood instruments like a little guitar, here are some of the malls i know: rio grande mall, plaza de las americas, plaza juarez mall, plaza las misiones, there are also some mexican restaurants like barrigas, sanborns, vips, maria chuchena, etc, where you won't spend more than $50 bucks per person, if you want a more fancy restaurant go to montana or mision de guadalupe those are kind of expensive, you will spend $50 or more per person in those kind of places your tab it's always more than a $100 dollards, if you want more information about anything there, post another question here

Looking to travel to Mexico or Hawaii, searching for a good reliable, safe website with good travel deals for the summer.

Question: Can a person with a felony retail theft conviction obtain a passport, specifically to travel to Mexico?
i was convicted of retail theft (misd) in 2000 and retail theft (felony upgraded with prior) in 2003. i am not on probation at this time. my question is, can i obtain a passport and travel to Mexico with a felony retail theft conviction. please, i know that theft is wrong, i've dealt with this part and am ashamed, right now i just want to know if i can travel outside of u.s. the internet info is vague "not all felony's prohibit international travel.." is what it says. thank you!

Question: Are there any good links for travel tour packages to visit mexico?
i mean like are there any packages that include hotel, flight, tours, guides, ecc that can be purchased at a decent price? im planning on going to mexico, more likely cancun for a one week or less stay around the very end of august in two. any good links or direct travel tour companies that provide good deals in which you have had good luck with?

Answer: These are the ones we have used in the past. I live in New York and these are some of the popular websites flying from the north east to Mexico
http://www.applevacations.com
http://www.libertytravel.com
http://www.americanairlines.com

I know friends of ours flew from Indiana on Frontier.com They got a great price.

Your local travel agency can help you with air and tour packages. I would start there, if the websites I recommended don't work for you.

Question: Why aren't there many good packaged travel deals from Houston to Europe at a good price??
I mena seriously, when I look online for Travel Deals or Last Minute travel they all seem to leave from JFK, Chicago, Miami, or LAX. Is IAH in Houston not one of the largest International Airports in America?? Travel companies needs ot start catering. All I see are trips to Mexico and you can only go to Mexico so many times. Does anyone know of any websites that cater to Texans (or surrounding states) with packaged travel deals when traveling Abroad???

Answer: It has less to do with "travel companies" than it does with airlines. There are more direct international flights landing in the airports you mentioned than there are into Houston. I'm sure it couldn't be hard to arrange the tours you want from Houston, you'd just have to change planes before you left the country. You could also book the package you want and just add the cheapest flight that will make it in time to make your connection from Houston. Either way, the added cost of airfare and transfer will have to occur until the airlines start flying more direct flights out of/in to Houston.

Question: I've heard about all inclusive package travel deals to Cancun for like $450. Anybody know how to get one?
Airfare, food, drink, housing, all included for one low price. Can't beat that kind of a deal for a 5 day exotic trip in Mexico. Love to know where to get hooked up with it.

Answer: I don't know about 450 for 5 days but

apple vacations www.applevacations.com has some of the best legitimate deals to Mexico & Dominican republic

www.travelfleamarket.com has links to a number of outfits that resell apple at cheaper prices. I used travelbyjen a while back and got 7 days in DR for $500. At the time I flew from Phillie rather than NY which would have cost 2x as much.
