Question: Luxury link travel service?
Hi. Has anyone used luxurylink.com? I want to take a vacation and read about this website. I've been on there a lot looking at their various packages, which seem to be all quite competitively priced. Or, does anyone have any other suggestions of who they've used for travel? I'm thinking of the Caribbean, Belize (for diving) or even just a luxury spa package in the states somewhere.
Answer: I am not familiar with this particular website but I always suggest getting a price quote from several sources.
Here is an idea to consider;
If you want to stay in the states & want luxury spa & accomodations, try Manderin Oriental in Miami, then head down to Key Largo ( about 1 hour drive ) for some world class diving.
Also, Grand Cayman is known for some fantastic diving walls, beautiful beaches & great hotels.
Cozumel has nice, refurbished hotels & some great diving, however some of the reefs were badly damaged by Hurricane Wilma in 2006.
There are many beautiful places to dive throughout the caribbean along with nice accomodations, it really depends on your overall budget.
Question: Only Questions for the Luxury Traveler?

Luxury Traveler meaning you spend at least $7,000 for a 2 person vacation.
Answer: No need to spend $ 7,000 for a luxury holiday. At least I do not and so do many others. Check out www.onevacationclub.com
Question: Why chose Dubai for vacation?
excuse my ignorance and i've never been to any of middle east or arab countries, but i saw a few travel shows, besides the city, it is all deserts and it looks VERY hot! that 6 star hotel looks really grand but not average people can afford to stay there. Shopping? i can think of other destinations to shop and many other things i can enjoy. Besides super rich people spend a ton of money, staying in the luxury resort for their vacation, is there anything Dubai can offer to average joe? So, why Dubai?
Answer: You're right. So much of what you can do in Dubai you can do elsewhere. There's so much construction going on there now as well and traffic is always a problem. Shopping malls and modern architecture are the main attractions.
If you want a peaceful, beautiful Arabic experience visit Oman, Dubai's neighbour. It has everything you'd like in a Middle East trip: great beaches, mountains, friendly locals, camels, markets, incense, palm groves, wadis, etc etc. It's not well known and is a hidden jewel.
Question: HELP!Hotel for honeymoon vacation in Rome?

i want to explore the city as well as its nightlife.
i want a place with good rooms and a comfortable stay.
nothing super luxury required.somewhere in the range of 200-300 Euro.
kindly help.
Answer: I suggest Eurostar International Palace hotel, via Nazionale no.46.It's a very well located hotel, with comfortables rooms and a very good staff. You can walk and admire all the beauties of Rome, day and night.A room and a great breakfest is about 130-140 euros.I hope it will be a great honeymoon for you and you'll love Rome, but,of course, not so much that you'll love each other.
Question: Is it safe for U.S. citizens to vacation in Beirut?
My husband and I were researching various user reviews on Beirut as a vacation destination, all reviews were glowing- luxury hotels are cheap, nightlife is amazing, beaches and mountains are breathtaking. Then we went to the government travel site and saw significant terrorist activity warnings stating that government officials may not be granted access to travel in Lebanon and must wait for clearance. Please advise.
Answer: Beirut is fantastic! It is a wonderful place with amazing things to see, marvelous hotels, and the like! Unfortunately, things have been somewhat volatile since the murder of the former prime minister. The most recent advisory went out in the beginning of this month, so you will need to be modest and take this into account once you arrive.
I have a few clients booked for the Intercontinental Hotel Phoenicia traveling in 2 months out of Ft. Lauderdale and they are aware of the advisory, but will still be taking the trip and are excited to say the absolute least. It is the experience of a lifetime, and attacks are extremely rare in the tourist districts. Remember, one of the worst attacks in history occured much closer to home than Lebanon.
More than likely, you will have the time of your life if you decide to go, and will want to go again soon! If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me anytime.
Question: Which is the most peaceful, beautiful beach in the Caribbean?
We will be travelling without kids and we want a luxury hotel on a peaceful, beautiful beach where we can relax. We do not want a beach where there are motorboats in the water making noise and smelling like gas, where the hotel had to construct the beach or put rope in the water, where there are loud people or kids or people trying to sell you stuff on the beach. We just want a nice, relaxing vacation. Any suggestions?
Answer: Punta cana - dominican republic is my choice vacation- been three times in 5 years--beautiful clean beaches, wonderful all inclusive foods--great hotels, entertainment--and they cater to the europeans--not too many families there--not much for kids. There are some hotels with casinos--and each hotel offers free transportation to the other hotels if theirs does not have a casino---there is snorkeling and it's great--the water is very calm--you can float without a wave breaking on you for HOURS and the beach is the purest of white..............the people are gracious, thankful and do not beg---in fact- if you go, bring cosmetics even from the dollar stores- lipsticks, eyelines, nail polish and make up a little basket for your maid--it will be worth more to her than money because they never spend their money on those items because they are so expensive there---and make sure you bring lots of pure vanilla extract back home and coffee---a huge bottle of extract is only like 6 dollars- it would be about 25 in the states.....the coffee is awesome and go on their outback safari trip--if you feel like a little adventure- you get to see the mountains of the island--that's where the coffee is grown-- and will swim in a natural stream ---really beautiful countryside.
Question: Europe vacation: Train & Cruise?
Hi guys. My GF & I would like to travel from London to Maybe france, Italy, Germany by train. Any suggestions?
Also who has cruised on a luxury liner to the mediterranean from England? Are they worth it?
What type of visas do you need?
We are both 26 yrs old
Answer: Definitely by train. Cruises are nice but you will see a lot more by train. If this is your first time to Europe, you can see the best places by train Berlin, Paris, Côte d'Azur, Milan, Tuscany, the choices are endless if you travel by train.
If you are a US citizen you don't need a visa to travel to most europian countries (at least, not the ones you mentioned). You can stay with a valid passport for up to 90 days.
